African American Studies Minor| Minor

The interdisciplinary minor in African American Studies enables students to explore the history, culture, politics, art, music and literature that is associated with the field. Students will gain not only an understanding of the rich history in which African American Studies is grounded, but also will learn how that history is connected to and influences contemporary cultural issues.

Requirements for the Minor

Minor includes an additional 18 semester credits including:
